The bathroom is a room that must both be functional while allowing to relax. Its lighting should generate a pleasant atmosphere while remaining effective to allow makeup or shaving for example.

If you do not spend more than two hours a day in the bathroom, its 4 to 5 m² are however essential in the house. The most flexible solution is undoubtedly the installation of dimmable LED spots, that is to say, compatible with the use of a dimmer. Thus, you can modulate the intensity of the lighting according to your activity in the bathroom: spotlight for the makeup and subdued atmosphere for a relaxing bath.

Targeted and functional lighting

This lighting is located in the area where we prepare, above the sink near the mirror. Here, it is better to choose a light close to daylight, with light sources with a good color rendering index to not give you bad looks.

You can opt for LED spots above the mirror or even an illuminating mirror frame. Since the area to be illuminated is the face, the height of the luminaires must be adjusted accordingly.
